The Selling Process

Selling your home is a process of making many right decisions.  The first being who to choose in marketing your home.  Making this first decision is perhaps the most difficult of all.  There are many factors to consider: first of all, you want someone you can trust to give you a no-nonsense valuation of the market value of your home. You may also be thinking about someone who has the experience to "stage" your home from a professional's perspective so it will appeal to buyers and sell quickly. From past experience, you may be concerned with finding a broker you can talk to and will respond efficiently to your questions and concerns.

The Berkshire Group Realtors can help you determine the "right" listing price for your home, based on market statistics.  This process begins with an inspection of your home to determine it's amenities, condition and location. These facts are compared to other properties with similar amenities in your neighborhood that have sold over the past 6-12 months. We also look at the current market inventory and determine where your home should be positioned in the overall price range.

Selling your home is a team activity, with the home owner being a central part of the team.  The Berkshire Group, Realtors are in charge of the "marketing" and you the seller are in charge of "marketability."  Together, we can work toward the speedy sale and closing of your property.

Statistics show that homeowners who work in conjunction with their brokers, drawing on the brokers' experience on the proper staging and pricing of a  home, have a shorter list to sale time.
